ARTICLE 7: GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any dispute relating to the Website or to this legal notice shall be brought before the Courts of Clermont-Ferrand. The dispute shall be governed and construed in accordance with French law on the merits, independently of conflict of law. Use of the Website implies the user’s express consent to the application of this Article. ARTICLE 8: ELEMENTS APPLICABLE TO THE QUICKSCAN TECHNOLOGY
MFP MICHELIN collects the license plate of the vehicle as well as the diagnosis of its tyres. Personal data is kept pseudonymized and saved for 3 months after your visit. The processing of personal data is based on Michelin's legitimate interest in setting up an automation device for the tire wear measurement system. When a vehicle passes through the Quickscan system, the license plate number is collected via a license plate reader and the tire wear rate is measured using the scanner on the ground.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), data subjects may access and obtain a copy of the data concerning them, oppose the processing of their data for legitimate reasons, have them rectified or erased. To exercise any of these rights, data subjects can do so to the personnel present on the Chantemerle site or by michelin_quickscan_technology_notification@michelin.com .
Data subjects may contact the Michelin Data Protection Officer (DPO) electronically by writing to privacy.fr@michelin.com. If they believe, after contacting us, that their computer rights and freedoms are not respected or that the device does not comply with data protection rules, they can file a complaint with the CNIL.
In the event that you do not wish to participate in this initiative, you have the possibility of informing us by communicating your license plate number to the personnel present on the Chantemerle site. Therefore, when you switch to the Quickscan device with your vehicle, your information will not be saved.
